I, Nina stands behind kennel Black Giant. Has a son of  11 years and one daughter in 5 years. Have always loved animals. On the farm we get dogs and cats, rabbits, sheep´s and a blue-yellow macaw. My children are on both mating, whelping and when they put to sleep, if they want. My daughter likes harlequin most while my son black.

My first Great Dane, I bought -88 by Rose-Marie in kennel Grandenspitz, he was a big black male. So nice and so beautiful. 2 years later I got a yellow bitch and after a further 2 years, a black bitch from Beaugrande. As interest began to grow to puppies. -95 Was the first litter. At first, only black, but in recent years also harlequin. When the harlequin is a difficult color, I am glad I did not start with it,but put me into this with color genetics. Which is not the easiest.

It's always fun to get to know new puppy buyers, many may be a very good contact with for many years. It is important to hear how it goes over the years with the dog if they get sick, how Old they are, etc. It's always good to know to my breeding program.

Temperament of these large dogs are very important. My dogs are not reserved for foreigners as this race is otherwise known to be. Spend much time and love to each puppy before delivery. My children are involved in this. The puppies are raised in a home environment and no dog house. Here the puppies a good start in life.

Breed for healthy Great Dane, is a matter of course. Even if you breed on healthy dogs such illnesses can emerge. Trying to find dogs with a long life.

Breed typical Great Dane? For Exhibitions varies a lot, from very thin bone, a bad stop, long backs, etc.. These are not dogs, we strive for. Good height with strong bones, good stop. Elegant Great Dane we want.

 I breed on black, harlequin & mantle. To get good colors, I am careful not to color mixing. So we're looking often  imports to our dogs, where it is not permissible to mix the paint. Color mixing, we are totally opposed.
